Handmade wooden cutting board made from Walnut, purple heart 19.25"x11.25"x1.25. Beautiful hand crafted cutting board made out of a variety of hard woods. Materials are carefully selected and bought from local lumber stores. The durability of walnut, maple and cherry not only bring out amazing color and beautiful patterns, but strength for years and years of use.
Purple heart wood really helps bring character to it and helps to make this pattern even more unique. These are definitely one of a kind boards, each handled with care and attention to detail.
From the rough cutting, to the glue ups, to sanding and finishing; each step is over looked and made with passion and care. Each board is individually soaked in mineral oil for a few hours to ensure your board will be hydrated and protected for a long time. For the final step to ensure your board is conditioned and hydrated, I personally coat them in a mineral oil, beeswax based conditioner I produce myself. Rubber feet are installed to ensure you have grip when cutting your favorite ingredients.
