Material: Rare Black Ebony Wood, Water Buffalo Bone. Hand Carved - Natural Finish. Size: 4.5 x 3.4 x 4.5 Inches. Hailing from Java Island we present an anatomically realistic skull featuring a design inspired by the original Calaveras found at Dia De Los Muertos celebrations.

The elaborate Calaveras ("Skull" in Spanish) you see painted during Dia De Los Muertos represent ancestors who have passed on. The flower design hand-carved into this skull symbolizes the combination of life and love. Exotic craftsmanship is detailed with hand-carved black ebony wood and authentic teeth made from the bones of native water buffalo. The mandible is attached to the base with a flexible hinge, allowing for movement of the jaw.

The black color is not paint or stain but an all natural color of the wood.
